VMA Group’s Internal Communication ‘Rising Stars’ breakfast 2011

On Thursday 12 May, VMA Group, the specialist communications recruiter, hosted its first 'Rising Stars' breakfast of 2011 for internal communications professionals. As its name suggests, the aim of these regular events is to bring together those IC practitioners who are just embarking on, or are in the early stages of, their IC careers. Those invited to attend are people who VMA Group believes have great potential to progress through their career along with having the ability to influence the discipline in a positive way.
The breakfast offers those attending the chance to network and make contact with their peer group. It is also an opportunity for them to share best practice and broaden their knowledge: learning more about the discipline and how it is approached by other practitioners across different industries. It is also a forum for exploring new concepts and ideas in a professional and safe environment. It is VMA's hope that all of these elements taken together will help accelerate their professional development and enhance their CVs and future prospects.
